Health Adaptation Research on Trauma Laboratory

Judith P. Andersen, PhD

Dr. Andersen is a health psychologist and Associate Professor at the University of Toronto's Department of Psychology and Temerty Faculty of Medicine. With more than 15 years of experience working with populations exposed to severe and chronic stress including military and law enforcement professionals. She specializes in the psychophysiology of stress, with particular expertise in police performance under pressure.

Vana Hutter, PhD

Dr Vana Hutter is a senior researcher at the Netherlands Institute for the Study of Crime and Law Enforcement, particularly in the research group Evidence based policing at that institute. Moreover she is an assistant professor at the Faculty of behavioral and movement sciences of the VU University in Amsterdam. She is a human movement scientist and performance psychologist. She has been doing research with the police for about a decade now, with a particular focus on equipping officers with the skills to perform and collaborate under pressure.
